Super Club War – Season 1

The first ever Super Club War had a somewhat surprising winner but lets start from the beginning.

8 Clubs joined this “tournament” – MPOWER, F1TIME, PT, T.D., GS, V., IWIN and M.S.. The quarter finals were drawn randomly between all 8 clubs.

The quarter finals had no real surprise, IWIN which is a srong team beats M.S. comfortably and T.D. cruises past PT which never do very well in Club wars. So, IWIN, GS, T.D. and F1TIME are off to the semi finals!

The semi finals were interesting, IWIN and GS war was very even with both clubs fighting hard for the win, 2fast made the diffence here, tilting the result their way. The event of this super club war started to draw itself on the T.D. vs F1TIME war, with the latter crushing theiropponents. IWIN and F1TIME move on and will fight for the title while GS and T.D. will play for 3rd place.

Club 7 – IWIN – 10 Winner

All 3rd place fights deal with the same problem, the lack of motivation. Its hard to play when you know you can’t get 1st place. This seemed to his GS hard has they hardly put up a fightagainst T.D.

And with IWIN and F1TIME, the grand finale looked exciting, and it was. IWIN looked stronger in the beginning, beating their opponents away right on the first race as suprn crashed dramatically! F1TIME picked up their loses and ended up taking advantage of IWIN losing one of their best players due to a ban.

So F1TIME took the big prize and the player of this super club war was awarded to JonnyP as he proved excellent consistency during all wars and helped his club greatly organizing their efforts. He got the newest Veyron Centenaire for that

Luis!

The new owner of the PSP3000 has been found and in game goes by the name of Luis! The winner of the Season 8 did not have an easy job, racing against the likes of 2fast, Danxo and hugofran who finished 2nd, 3rd and 4th. They are all very competitive adversaries and put up a good fight. Congratulations to all and hopefully someday we can arrange prizes for everyone

BulletDrive 1st Anniversary

On the 1st of July Bulletdrive will make its first anniversary! YAY!

To make this a special event, BulletDrive will award the winner of The Cup’s season 8 with a fantastic PSP 3000! Please do check the rules and if your going for it, good luck! Hopefully this is the first of many prizes in the future, making the game more fun and competitive to play. Well, girls and pimps. I hope there are some girls in bulletdrive so there had to be a pink car, I would have drawn an Hello Kitty in it but my drawing skills aren’t enough.

Apart from the wonderfull art todey I’ll be coding features, already fixed the ghosts so that now they stop at the finish line instead of a few meters back.

Also tried to draw a new track with long straight sections for the faster cars but my outdated pc crashes due to the size of the map, if someone knows out to use flash and wants to help draw send me an ingame mail.

Geeky post today.

Had some troubles with binary arrays while working on saving data to the database so I made a converter for aid. Since I was at it also added some other notations for kicks.

It might be useful for anyone else frying their grey jelly with ones and zeroes.

Summer time map & a Bullet Drive wrap

Bonjour ledies and gentelman, today I am going to put a little french tweest to the blog, because it is summer time, le temp de love, perhaps of the bird and ze bezz bezzz, perhaps (in ali g accent) make love to the orse! (in editing,I realized, this is the end of the French stuff – sooo.. Olé!)

But seriously, animal magnetism is but one of the many things offered in this no school scheduled season… I wonder what everyone’s plans are. Personally, I’m going to be taking some classes.. I realize the irony and sadness which I have presented you with. In addition I might be going to Africa… By choice, lol, but that’s a long shot. I’ve also agreed to take some da… Nmd, that wasn’t by choice. Hey anyone know some good ways to make money in the summer… Urm, knowing you guys, I’m going to have to ask you all to refrain from suggestions dealing with narcotics, sexual favours, etc.. I’m going to stay away from very illegal stuff. Moreover, I am going to be taking paragliding more seriously this summer, and hopefully learn to kite surf properly, and when I say properly I mean to do so without breaking anything… Comment if you are into anything similar to this.

They say that the all powerful Mayan calendar predicts the world is coming to an end in 2012, so for all you people hoping to savour life and get Buck-Wild, note that this is your third last summer, better get crackin on… whatever. This being said, I also want to go to Norway and take a wiz in their fountains, but only because they recently got ahead of us in the National standings… Also PT beat finally out DB, soo does this give us a life lesson?.. Perhaps that drunkards are very fast out of the gate, but fall asleep at the wheel?.. Perhaps, but I’m not becoming a DD (designated driver) to find out, I’d rather be a DD…

Car models

Hi all.

Weekend is over. following PapaPersia’s advice I got real drunk last night so today I gave my head a rest and did no programming, still there’s plenty of work to do so I started drawing the car models. Some of the most popular models are done, some are based on the blueprints I found on the web others are kinda made up from looking at the photos.

It takes me more than an hour to draw one, there’s currently 66 cars in the market plus the reputation prizes 70 something…thats a lot of hours. X(

A lot of tweaks have been done in the game engine also, I think the game is finally time-based instead of frame-based, this would make the car go slower in slower computars, so it was a major issue. Also some performance and graphical improvments were done. Thats all for me today.

HELLO!!! this blog has been a very long time in comming, actually this is the second blog ive written however the first one posted. The last time I wote – April6th – I was busting on how crazy it was that the first Ultimate Aero was racing. This time im going to talk about the team structure. There are many many teams in the game now, With a bell curve median of large club houses. Though there is a clear strategical difference in club formulation since the overhaul of the last BulletDrive round the competition is just as fierce. No longer are 1-3 member teams the beneficiaries of club settings. The trend is now towards a philosophy of “the bigger the better” (thats what she said?..). The benefit of having more memebers allows access to more parts from clubmates and a higher chance of having the best players in clan wars.
Division and resurfacing of a new drunken club has brought about some intersting changes as well – The Drunk Drivers, affectionately known for their battles fought with their sword of words, (too drunk to fight / talking in their sleep) have taken some of Drunk Bastard’s top members and consequently allowing PT to catch up. The speed matters now in this context.
Though Drunk Bastards remain number one, it seems that the reason for the insurgeance in intoxicated leadership of the boards is through team affection and pride. Club mates are never turned down for help and everyone is friendly, there lies a nice sense of sharing, and beer. So I say upon all those non-drunken BulletDrive peeps (keeping it gansta) Go forth and be drunk.. better yet treat your mates the way you would want to be treated because helping out a clubmate in this game only goes to increase your success.
What makes this game worth playing is not the points but the commeradery involved.

This being said I feel kinda drunk…
